International Hockey Festival in Melbourne Victoria

The International Festival of Hockey has got underway in Melbourne with some interesting results on the first two days in both the Men's and the Women's competitions. Some of the interesting results have been-

Men's Competition

DAY 1: Australia def Pakistan 9-1

DAY 2: Australia def New Zealand 4-1

Women's Competition

DAY 1: Australian Hockeyroos def by Netherlands 0-2

DAY 2: Australian Hockeyroos def USA 3-2

The US took at early 2-0 lead with Goals to Melissa Gonzalez and Casey Di Nardo before the Hockeyroos thought back with goals from Jane Claxton, Brooke Peris and Emily Hurtz.
