• Katy started playing field hockey in school at the early age of 8 yrs old
• Represented Suffolk County Under 13 – Under 21
• Selected for England training Under 16's
• Represented East of England at Under 21 level

Moved to Australia in the year 2000 and played for Pirates and then Peel in the Perth competition.

• Represented Western Australia (WA) in 2004 – 2006
• Started playing Masters for WASPs (Wesley South Perth Hockey Club)in 2009 and then set up the Peel Masters team in 2016
• Represented Western Australia at O35s 2009 – 2012, was named Captain in 2011
  
• Represented Western Australia O40s 2013, 2015 - 2017, Captain in 2013, 2015, 2017
• Represented Australia in Trans Tasmin test 2011 as Captain
• Represented Australia in World Cup 2014 in Rotterdam O40s as Captain
• Represented Australia in World Cup 2016 in Canberra O40s 
• Set to represent Australia in World Cup 2018 in Barcelona Spain O45s
